I already know 2019 is going to be a great year.  I can feel it. 

Something that has become a tradition in our household is spending New Year’s Day writing down our intentions for the year.  It’s usually broken down in to something like this:

• Personal goals
• Business goals
• Things we’d like to purchase/save $ for
• Projects to complete
• Travel destinations (camp site bookings are open people!)

I’ve decided to share my business goals for 2019 with you.  I could say that it was for accountability; but honestly, I’m just so in love with what I do and am excited to yell it from the rooftops!

Here goes….

[inn]space

My intentions for the [inn] this year are making me giddy.

Our pledge for our Guests is to always be evolving.  It has never been our goal to create a space and then convince people that they should love it.  Quite the opposite in fact.  We have always leaned on our Guests to tell us what they love and then we created a space to match.  Naturally, as new Guests move in to the space, the [inn] evolves to accommodate.

That said, here’s just a smidgen of what’s cooking for 2019!

• Upping our accessibility – we can’t help that we bought a bungalow, but we CAN create a second coffee bar and mini-Lounge on the main level 😉

• [inn]sider Perks – we love that you do business at the [inn], but we also get that you can’t spend all your time here. We’ve made some stellar connections within our community in the past 16 months and will be passing on some top-notch discounts & savings for you and your clients.

• out[space] – get ready for the mic-drop; We are launching Canada’s FIRST outdoor boardroom this Spring! If you aren’t already, follow us on social @innspacebarrie and see the creation of this space first hand.  It’s everything you are imagining. It’s extraordinary.

• Flip it & Reverse it – This year, and every year, we will be updating our Lobby and The Lounge. We know that a productive environment is one that stimulates your senses and that can’t happen if it’s the same old, same old.  Everyone loves a good makeover!

The [inn]er Circle

Created in 2018, this is a business mentorship community that is inclusive for all.  The idea behind it being that interaction with other business owners it by far the MOST valuable resource for Entrepreneurs; and we thought that should be free.

This was definitely not my focus last year and I’m sorry for that.  Rest assured we are in the midst of prepping an entire year worth of events/workshops/mixers for 2019!  It will all be published on our Facebook Group shortly.

First up, getting our Pixel Groups organized and officially launched!  What’s a pixel group?  Check out our FB page and find out!

The New Office

[inn]space will be partnering with The New Office in 2019 to take our virtual clients to the next level.  The New Office is a full service platform combining virtual office packages, virtual assistant recruitment & remote employment placement.  In true [inn]space style, there will additional features not yet available in the city of Barrie.  TNO & the [inn] are committed to supporting our local entrepreneurial ecosystem.  We are super pumped to be bringing this to Simcoe County.
